My favorite part about VEX is the way our team interacts with each other. We have a good time while getting work done and that is a good quality to have in a team. My favorite part about the robot process is building it. I like to do hands-on activities.  The most meaningful thing I learned was that it takes patience to build a robot. It takes lots of time and it still isn't perfect. This is why I love VEX because you learn something different every time you come. I hope I can do it next year.

My favorite part of VEX robotics is learning new skills and having fun with my friends while doing that. We’d watch videos and get ideas from our heads and smash them all into one big amazing robot, while we keep trying different concepts onto our new robot to do so we can conquer everything about this year's new game. We spent so much time on autonomous code using the V5 system coding, and time and time again learning different techniques. Although there was some goofing off to be had, robotics was really productive and super fun and exciting.

I like reading, listening to music, playing instruments, learning languages, and cooking. I like VEX because I get to talk with friends and I get to build and program the robot. My favorite part of the process of making our robot is practicing driving because its fun and we can get competitive against each other. The most meaningful thing I learned though VEX is time management because you can't build and program the robot last minute, it takes a lot of time to perfect it. It was really fun and I wish I could do it next year too.

In my opinion, the best part of VEX Robotics is the chance to put your ideas to the test. We would watch videos and look at some examples of mechanisms for the robot and find which ones will help the most in the competition. We then build the ones that we chose to build and we put them to the test. Another thing I like about VEX is coding the robot. It is fun and informative to program the robot in VEX Coding Studio because you learn new commands, and I enjoy fine-tuning the autonomous code so that the robot does what we want it to do precisely. VEX is both enjoyable and a good learning experience!

My favorite part of VEX Robotics is having fun with my friends while working on robots.  There is a lot of giggling in the room as we make funny videos or silly pictures of ourselves.  But we can also be serious and spend hours and hours writing C++ code to make the robot score more points.  This year we learned all about the new V5 system and all of it's useful features. We now can make our robot go straight without a lot of coding to do so. The Smart Motors have integrated encoders that make it easier to code with rotations and degrees rather than time. We also use the Competition Mode a lot to simulate the Skills Challenge rather than using our own timer. It was really cool!
